The unique 100% Rose oil SoZoLe Rose is produced by the traditional method of steam distillation from hand-picked Damask rose flowers (Rosa Damascena Mill.) in the Rose Valley , or Valley of the Thracian Kings registered on UNESCO World Heritage List. This magical place is a 120 km long strip between two mountain ranges, from which the intoxicating scent of millions of blooming flowers wafts for about one month a year. 30-40 aromatic flowers are transformed intoone drop of this gem. In other words, to obtain 1 kg of rose oil, approximately 3,500-4,000 kg of fresh, hand-picked Damask rose flowers are needed. Harvesting begins immediately after dawnwhen the open flowers contain the highest percentage of essential oils. Then they immediately travel to the more than 100-year-old “rose factory”, or distillery intended exclusively for the processing of roses. This distillery uses traditional copper vessels that add charm to the oil. Thanks to strict technological and hygienic conditions, it is a tradition in modern coat. “Bulgarian rose oil” that you are holding in your hands is registered as a Protected Geographical Indication of the EU.

The 1g package is stored in a hand-carved linden wood case. Beautiful work from a small family workshop in the middle of the mountains.

Original rose oil solidifies at temperatures below 20 degrees Celsius. This gel consistency will turn into liquid again, just hold the bottle in your hands for a while.

How to use it

1. Body care and massage – mix 4-9 drops of rose oil with 30 ml of base oil (i.e. dilution %-1% ), e.g. apricot or BIO rosehip and then gently apply to the skin
2. Relaxing anti-stress bath – with a few drops of the mixture above
3. Skincare – production of creams, serums, masks and other skin care products
4. Production of perfumes – only the presence of rose oil in the perfume prolongs the intensity of the fragrance for 2-3 days

Use this unique oil sparingly. When used in small doses, it develops its fragrance and effective properties in the best quality.

Traditional production process

Our oil is traditionally produced by steam distillation . Before he gets to the resulting oil it takes a lot of human hands and loving care. The flowers are collected by hand after sunrise, when they are still sprinkled with morning dew and their petals contain the highest amount of essential oils (0.02-0.04%, exceptionally up to 0.09%).

Then they are transported directly from the fields in 10 kg bags and immediately travel to huge distillation vessels, where they are filled with water and go through the first steam distillation. Because the rose oil cannot be sufficiently separated, the first distillate travels to other vessels, in which it is distilled a second time. There it gets more complicated. By the end of the same working day, everything is done. The second distillate, unique pure rose water fills the containers and precious rose oil, which is lighter than the water collected on its surface. The transformation of the magical “liquid gold”, which, due to its high price, hardly reaches the end customer, is complete.
