Locals, regulars and visitors like me enjoying great fresh seafood with a glass or two of wine, but I was shocked by the great value I thought the food and wine were.I admit to bring a bit nervous waiting for the bill after the meal but two glasses of good wine, a few oysters and loads of shrimp and ‘bulots’ (sea snails) with mayonnaise was well under 30€ .Great tip though is to take your own bread from a local bakery. You can eat this with the seafood ( they don’t provide any) and it really adds to the meal wonderfully.

The market has about a dozen stalls selling fresh fish (mostly shellfish) and offering small covered sections where diners can order customised fruit de mer to dine there. The stalls even cook the seafood for the diners too, and we had the nicest garlic razor clams here.Definitely a place to visit if you're a fan of French seafood.
